Hank Mobley on Blue Note 4031

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Hank Mobley “Soul Station” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4031.  Side 1 opens with a tic, followed by six tics through Track 1; Track 2 has a few light tics towards the end, during the drum solo; Side 2 appears to be near-new, with a high luster; previous owner’s name stamped on Side 1 label.  The laminated West 61st cover shows wear at the spine corners and the lower right corner; small flakes along the bottom edge and along the opening, on the front.
