Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of “Hank Mobley” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 1568. The playing surface has a few inaudible scuffs on both sides and a lightly audible scratch at the end of Track 2 to the beginning of Track 3 on Side 1; but retains a high luster throughout. The laminated West 63rd St. cover is clean throughout, with a professional restoration at the left corner and 3” of the top seam, at the right, 2 ½” at the top and 4” at the bottom of the spine, and along the edges of the back slick.
