Top copy of absolute classic-to-the-core Hard-Bop album by tenor sax legend Hank Mobley. Both the cover and record are in superb condition. There is just a tiny tear about 7/8mm to outer edge on front, which can be seen in photo. Original USA Blue Note 4058 LP with 43 West 61st Street, NY 23 address and has RVG and 'ear' stamp in run-out. On the back cover has Chappell & Co. Ltd London and Mecolico stamps. If you want to own a great copy of this must-have classic jazz album don't hesistate to have a bid! This music is best enjoyed sat back in a comfy armchair with a fine single-maly whisky and played loud on a quality hi-fi system! I have graded conservatively and have strided to give as much info as possible but please feel free to ask any questions.
Cover: VG++ (overall perfectly intact, great shine to front, some dullness and yellowing from ageing at back.small rip at top right corner at back and on front at opening edge. pics show everything)
Vinyl: VG++ (general scuff marks, looks worse on side 1 but they are only scuff marks not scratches. I've listened through the whole album 2 or 3 times and there is only the slighest audible noise between tracks but you don't notice unless you are really listening for it. the music plays loud, clear and strong (these original Blue Note LPs really do sound fantastic, the music leaps out and would sound amazing on a top hi-fi system). there are no jumps or pops. overall very clean and shiny.)
