Description
Hank Mobley Roll Call Blue Note 84058 Original Press DG, 1960. This is a first stereo pressing with deep grooves on both side, the ear and RVG STEREO in the dead way, 47 W. 63rd, NYC on both labels. The cover is a strong VG with no seam splits, tape on the bottom left corner, and some water damage on one seam on the back. The vinyl is thick, deep groove, beaded edge. Side 1 is closer to VG+ with no scratches and some light scuffing. Side 2 is Vg or vg- with a feelable 1/4 scratch at the end of Baptist Beat and a 1/2" feelable scratch on track 2, The More I See (see pic and video).
This is a classic Mobley Blue Note, one of his best featuring Freddie Hubbard, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers and Art Blakey. Thanks.
