THE HANK BAGBY SOULTET "OPUS ONE" - On Protone Records, HBS-133.  Original Mono 12" LP, double sided DEEP GROOVE.  Ultra rare LP on obscure Hollywood label.  Heavy stiff vinyl, thick cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Hank Bagby/tenor sax; Chuck Foster/trumpet; Dave MacKay/piano; Al Hines/bass; Chiz Harris/drums.  The vinyl is in VG to VG+ condition and still maintains nice gloss.  Plays occasionally with low crackling that, while certainly audible, never overwhelms the sound.  The thick cardboard cover is excellent shape and displays nicely with only slight storage wear.  NO seal splits, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The songs are:  Dee Dee; The Great Wall; Soul Sonnet; Kiss Me Quigley; Iborian; Algerian Suite.
