Description
HUMAN INSTINCT - RICH MAN / ILLUSIONS ( MERCURY MF 990, 1967 UK)
Ultra rare UK-only single by this fantastic band from New Zealand, they issued 5 singles recorded in the UK during the mid-late 60s, really sought-after by freakbeat collectors, their 3 first releases in Mercury were only issued in the UK and are much rarer than the Deram ones.
This is one of their finest, "Rich man" is mod freakbeat/pop-art of the highest order!!!! Super cool drumming and vocals and very innovative guitar work with great feedback use.....in the same league as Creation or Smoke. It has been compiled recently on a volume of "Jagged Time Lapse" series.....top mod dj stuff!!!! Highly recommended!!!
At the same time, i have included another Human instinct 7" (Go-Go) on auction.
Condition Record/Sleeve : Record looks EX, but there is a mark on a-side that makes some pops, not too disturbing, but because of that i can only grade it as VG.
PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE 60s FREAKBEAT PSYCH MOD POP AND GARAGE RELATED STUFF!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!
