HOWLIN' WOLF-THE BACK DOOR WOLF 1974 CHESS RECORDS LP CH-50045 IN A SOLID VG(cover)-EXC. VG+ CONDITION. CLEAN VINYL!! The early 70's were very good for Wolf having the props coming from the UK artists that adored him certainly helped. The Back Door Wolf gives us more of his unmistakable electric blues. Tracks such as Stop Using Me, Coon On The Moon, Moving & Watergate Blues all appear on this must own release. All fans of the man or the genre need this one in their hands, it's a keeper!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition, nice and clean, plays well throughout, not a stretch at all to even say a VG++ on the vinyl. The cover however has a scuffed top edge that almost has splitting, it's close as one can see faint light. There is a tiny slice in the lower right hand corner (see picture), a 1/2" mouth split in the bottom right hand corner, minor rubs on the other three and some light ring wear / aging front and back. The original inner sleeve has a small split. A terrific buy!!
