THIS IS THE ORIGINAL FIRST US 1958 PRESSING DEBUT LP FROM HOWLIN' WOLF!
INCREDIBLE PRESERVED COPY PLUCKED FROM AN ESTATE OF A MAN WHO WORKED AS A MUSIC MAGAZINE JAZZ AND BLUES COLUMNIST. HE HAD A SMALL BUT BEAUTIFUL COLLECTION OF VINTAGE BLUES AND JAZZ TUCKED AWAY AND FORGOTTEN ABOUT UNTIL HIS GRANDDAUGHTER PULLED THEM OUT OF THE CLOSET A FEW MONTHS AGO.
I BELIEVE THIS TO BE PROBABLY AMONG THE NICEST ONE IN EXISTENCE-- MOST OF THE FEW THAT HAVE SOLD IN THE PAST THAT STATE NM ARE ACTUALLY SLIGHTLY MARRED. THIS COPY HAS A SOLID COVER AND WEAR-FREE LABELS AND BEAUTIFUL WAX! SHELDON IS STAMPED IN THE DEAD WAX-INDICTING A TRUE FIRST PRESSING
