COVER: EX- ~Very clean and vivid cover has only lightest touch of wear to high gloss laminated front or snapping bright back. Upper left corner tip has tear. Small surface tear on back at left edge. Light spotting upper right corner, back. Seams and spine have no wear except for the small area at the upper corner. No splits.

VINYL: EX+ ~Glossy vinyl has 1 inaudible hairline and faint sleeve sheen mark. No scuffs. No scratches. LP plays very clear and bright throughout. No tics or distortion. Very faint, barely audible crackle in few isolated spots; otherwise extraordinarily clean sound throughout. Deep Groove labels are super-clean with no wear, soil or fading. Tiny spindle marks on label, side 2 -only visible at angle to light.

This is the FIRST ISSUE of this LP.
BLP 1562 is one of the earliest BLUE NOTE titles released after their move to West 63rd St.
Also one of the earliest titles to feature a laminated cover.

Very hard to find in any of the pre-Liberty issues; this genuine FIRST PRESS has incredible sound and a very lustrous, bright, vivid cover; very presentable in spite of the tiny paper loss at the corner-tip.
