This is an original 1974 MCA Records UK pressing of the original 1974 LP titled 'In for the Kill' from British hard guitar rock trio Budgie. It is MCA Records UK catalog number MCF 2546, laminated cover, black with rainbow comet labels. Budgie on this LP is Burke Shelley-bass guitar, vocals / Pete Boot-drums / Tony Bourge-lead guitar. THIS LP INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL BUDGIE VERSION OF THE SONG 'CRASH COURSE IN BRAIN SURGERY WHICH WAS COVERED BY METALLICA ON THEIR 'GARAGE INC' ALBUM. Other tracks are: In For The Kill, Wondering What Everyone Knows, Zoom Club, Hammer And Tongs, Running From My Soul, Living On Your Own. Condition of record is a high VG+ with a few very light visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of laminated cover is a low VG+ with a fair amount of small wrinkles and a couple of larger ones, a few small spots where the lamination is beginning to come up, some contact and ring wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners. This LP would make a choice addition to any Metallica-related or hard guitar rock record collection!
