Description

HORACE SILVER - Further Explorations  BLUE NOTE 1589 1st press with 47 W. 63rd RVG Deep Groove on side 2 label. With Art Farmer on Trumpet and Clifford Jordan on Tenor Sax.  Brilliant compositions and performances - excellent sound!  One of the less common Horace Silver original pressings. Mastered by Rudy Van Gelder, with "RVG" stamped in the dead wax, both sides in trail-offs. P, wrongly called "ear", for Plastylite plant etched in the dead wax, both sides. No address on back cover. VPI cleaned. Ships with both the original Blue Note inner sleeve and a new anti-static inner sleeve. Record PLAY GRADES EXCELLENT, visually is VG+ with light hairlines; cover is VG+ with light wear/discoloration on back and a spot of paper loss at back upper right, sun fading seen at left spine edge and bottom left of laminated front, NO SPLITS.  Please see all the ENLARGED PHOTOS for more details.
