Description

Bach/Mozart Violin Cti/de Vito LP

HMV ASD 429 stereo; first gold/cream labels

Bach: Violin Concerto in E major, BWV.1042

Gioconda de Vito, violin

The London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Rafael Kubelik

Mozart: Violin Concerto No.3 in G major, K.216

Gioconda de Vito, violin

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Rafael Kubelik

Sleeve in VG to VG- condition, actually quite clean but graded thus due to thin at bottom right where a label has been removed (see scan below)

Disc in VG+ condition, possibly VG visually with some light marks and smudges, but plays with remarkably little noise

An acceptable playing copy of this very rare recording

My records are graded in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows:

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

+ or - indicates a grading in between categories

Postage and packing: UK first class £2.75; Europe airmail £4.25; Americas airmail £5.75; ROW airmail £6.00.

I offer reduced postage rates for combined multiple purchases as follows:

UK mainland: Price as quoted above for first LP plus £1.25 for each additional LP

Overseas: Price as quoted above for first LP plus £1.75 for each additional LP

These shipping prices apply to to a maximum combination of 5 LPs only. For larger shipments, particularly those which include box sets or double LPs, please await invoice before making payment. Parcels sent to UK adresses weighing in excess of 1.5kg will usually be sent by Standard Parcel Rate

Overseas buyers should note that the maximum weight for Airmail Small Packets is 2kg and larger shipments may either have to be split or sent via Fedex "Parcels To Go". Surface mail quotes for parcels weighing less than 2kg (a somewhat cheaper service outside of Europe, but which can take up to 6 weeks to arrive) are available on request

Insurance

Insurance against loss or damage by the Postal Services is available for an additional charge as follows:

UK: Package value below £30 = 68p (Recorded Delivery); Package value above £30 = £3.65 (Special Delivery)

All Overseas Countries: £5.00 (International Signed For Airmail)

Please note that, whilst it it comparatively rare for items to be lost or damaged in the post (the quality of packaging I use is substantial), my part of the transaction contract is legally completed as soon as the item is in the hands of the Post Office. I will not, therefore, accept responsibility for any loss or damage by the Postal Services. Whilst I am happy to provide help and advice, all such claims remain the responsibility of and must be made by the buyer. Due to the volume of items handled I am unable to provide on-line trackable proof of posting unless one of the above insurance options is requested by and paid for at the time of remittance by the buyer

Whilst I endeavour to dispatch items as soon as possible after  payment has been received and/or cleared, please allow up to 14 days for delivery (21 days if overseas). I generally post-out once a week over the weekend; items for which payment has not been received by Wednesday evening are unlikely to be included in that weekend's postal dispatch.
