Description

These LPs are on the earliest HMV gold/red label and are in mono (no stereo version exists).   
The sleevenotes on the rear of the sleeves, by Tureck herself, are dated 1958.
The sleeves are the original Mardons-made flip-backs, laminated on both sides.
The matrix numbers on the run-outs are 2XEA 1315-5N & 1316-2N, 2XEA 1317-1N & 1318-3N.
The inner sleeves are HMV printed tissue-lined paper.
The LPs will be supplied with a 47g protective PVC sleeve and packed in a commercial Defenda LP mailer made of corrugated cardboard. 
Condition of Discs The discs are glossy, with no signs of spindle wear around the centre hole and show only the faintest signs of wear.  I have listened to extracts and after wiping with a damp cloth, they plays beautifully, with negligible loss of high-end frequency.  I have very conservatively graded them as 'Excellent' (Record Collector grading system).
Condition of Sleeves The sleeves are free of writing, tears and sticky labels and shows only minor shelf/handling wear.  The fronts show minor signs of creasing and ring wear and the laminate is beginning to lift along the left hand edge of Record 1 sleeve.  The photo on the front of the Record 1 sleeve has faded considerably, probably from light exposure.  Because of this I have graded this sleeve as 'Fair'.  Record 2 sleeve graded as 'Excellent'.
