All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if purchased. 

These records are in near mint condition. There is small cluster of light spindle marks on each of the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs, fading or staining anywhere. There is little to no wear around the centres and overall the gorgeous Dawn labels are clean, bright and in really nice condition with just the light spindle marks to report.

As for the vinyl itself, all four sides are really clean with a vivid lustre(glows a lovely deep red colour when held to direct light as pressed on deep red translucent vinyl) and little visible in normal light. There is a few of the most minor and faint wispy lines showing on all four sides when viewed under bright light but nothing at all heavy, deep or serious. There is also a faint smudge/line that is 3.5cms in length and found on side 1. This is incredibly minor however and would not classify as a scratch but rather a slight scuff or smudge. Other than this there is also a faint and minor 'scratch' across track 2 on side 4. This is again very minor and of course cannot be felt. Overall all four sides are very clean with no heavy or serious signs of use and it has clearly been well looked after over the years.

I play tested both the records and they played really well throughout. They lay flat on the deck with little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The audio produced is superb and has excellent clarity for an lp thats has quite a few very mellow/spoken word segments.

There is of course no skips, sticks or annoying tics and the general audio has minimal surface noise. There was maybe the most minimal trace in parts but certainly nothing at all major, serious or disruptive. I noted the following during the play test:

Side 1: Some incredibly faint splutters in between tracks 1 and 2 and just slightly in to the intro of track 1. These are very faint and very minor overall. The rest of side 1 plays A1 with excellent clarity and free of any real noise.

Side 2: Plays really well from start to finish. Even the really mellow, dialogue parts(track 2 etc) play great with little to no surface noise.

Side 3: The most minimal traces of surface noise in places and some very minor splutters in track 4. Nothing at all major, loud or disruptive just the most minor traces of 'noise'.

Side 4: Plays really well with quiet interludes and next to no interference. The light line mentioned above in track 2 has no noticeable affect.

So overall a 46 year old vintage lp that has been very well looked after and plays really well. It on  the whole has really nice clarity, easy to follow and defined dialogue and no serious or minimal interference.

The gatefold sleeve is in excellent+ condition. It generally looks wonderful all round and there are no major issues or heavy signs of age to it. There are however a few minor ones to mention. Firstly there is a small(8mm by 4mm) scuff to the rear bottom left corner area(see pics). Other than this there is also some light shelf rubbing to the bottom edges and all four corners. This is not extreme or heavy but there is some rubbing showing. The spine however has no major rubbing and is square, straight and fully legible. There is no tears or pen marks on the sleeve and next to no ring marks showing. There is also no heavy creasing anywhere, but there is some light creasing around the front lower right area. This is again pretty minor and not hugely noticeable. Inside the gatefold is near perfect with no fading, grubbiness or other issues. I have tried my best to describe the sleeve but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition. I can also provide further photographs of specific areas if required.

It contains both its original plain white poly-lined inners which are in very good+ condition. They are both solid with no splits but both have some age related discolouring, creasing and ring marks. One also has a 1cm tear to the central window. Both records will be sent in brand new plain white replacement inners to ensure they remain clean and ready to play.

Also included is its(often missing) original fold out poster. This is in excellent+ condition with no tears, pen marks, age spots or serious issues. There is of course some light creasing where it folds and minimal signs of handling but overall it has been preserved really well.
