? HIGH TIDE ? SEA SHANTIES ? CLASSIC 1969 PSYCH/PROG LP ? LIBERTY 1969
Collectable UK copy of High Tide's first album. Very hard to find in any condition.
Catalogue LBS 83264. Black label.
A-2u/B-2u matrices .
Vinyl in very good condition. Some marks with the occasional light scratch which does not seriously detract from the music. Most of the music is loud in any event and the listening experience is fulfilling, particularly with Simon House's violin duelling with Tony Hill's wild guiter. Simon House was later with Hawkwind and High Tide's music has been described as being a bit like Hawkwind with more musicianship (just listen and you will surely agree).
Gatefold sleeve is near excellent with a firm legible spine. No seam splits, writing or tears. Just a little discolouring in a couple of places on the mainly white MacNeill Press sleeve. Incidentally, the sleeve was designed by Paul Whitehead, who later designed the early 1970's Genesis covers and the famous Charisma Mad Hatter logo.
Labels: Excellent with a few faint spider marks.
Tracks:
(Side 1). Futilist's Lament. Death Warmed Up. Pushed, But Not Forgotten.
(Side 2). Walking Down Their Outlook. Missing Out. Nowhere
