HIGH TIDE High Tide (Psycho 27) Hawkwind RARE UK 2nd Pressing 1984 MINT-
RARE UK pressing of High Tide`s second, eponymously-titled album "High Tide" on Psycho Records (July 1970). Originally released on Liberty Records, this is the 1984 re-release on the Psycho label. These issues have in the meantime become collectable items in their own right.
"In 1969, Sea Shanties established High Tide as one of Britain's heaviest bands (...). In comparison with their hefty debut, however, the self-titled follow-up is a relatively subdued affair. The interplay of guitarist Tony Hill and violinist Simon House is still very much at the core of High Tide's distinctive hybrid of psychedelia, prog, and hard rock, but while Hill lays down his characteristically intricate, searing guitar lines, he forgoes the sort of weighty, molten riffage that made Sea Shanties such a behemoth." - Wilson Neate for allmusic.com
GRADING:
EX++ COVER with very light storage wear. Please see photos for details.
- Lightly laminated sleeve with a few small creases to the spine, as well as along top edge. From long-time storage only!
- Superficial bend (2 inches long) towards bottom left-hand corner.
- Includes the original polylined inner sleeve in MINT condition.

MINT(-) RECORD that looks unplayed. A near-impossible find in this condition!
- Perfect vinyl on both sides, with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- The record was bought new in the mid-eighties. It has been played exactly once. 
- No hairlines, scuffs or any other visible signs of previous play at all!
- UK second-pressing Psycho Records labels with no spindle wear whatsoever.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "PSYCHO-27-A LYN-14310-IUT Z  ?TOPIA" and "PSYCHO-27-B LYN-14311-IUT Z".
- This record is certified to be a UK second pressing of "High Tide", released in 1984.
