Description

You are bidding on a double vinyl release for HIGH ON FIRE, entitled "BLESSED BLACK WINGS", released in 2005 on Relapse Records.  
Oakland stoner/sludge/metal at it's finest.

The LPs and gatefold album cover/sleeve are in excellent condition, with no scratches or major damage. I'd rate the records 9/10 and sleeve 8/10.


Blessed Black Wings is the critically acclaimed third album from High on Fire. The vinyl version was released as a double LP and contains a bonus track, "Rapid Fire," originally by Judas Priest.

Both "The Face of Oblivion" and "Cometh Down Hessian" are based on stories by horror fiction author H.P. Lovecraft. They are based on At the Mountains of Madness and The Hound, respectively.

Blessed Black Wings was voted 48th in the 50 Greatest Albums of the 21st Century in Kerrang!
