***READ THE AUCTION TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING!***

Up for auction is one pristine copy of Henry and June "Goin' Back To Memphis" on Human Fly records from 1996. 1 of only 300 in existence (make that 299, I own one more MINT copy that will never be for sale!). RARE AS ALL HELL!

Where do I even begin to describe this monster piece of vinyl? Back in the early to mid-90s, Dooley Wilson, Ben Swank, and Johnny Walker were livin' in Maumee, Ohio and started bangin' out primitive blues and rawk together. Out of that effort came this little known slab of vinyl from a tiny Detroit label called Human Fly. It sat in complete obscurity until Jack White appropriated it into his repository of covers during White Stripes gigs. The Soledad Brothers (Ben Swank, Johnny Walker, and Oliver Henry) continued to play it on and off during their sets throughout their early years and reworked the b'side, "Lowdown Streamline", for their Voice of Treason LP.

Eventually, people started asking question about the song and it came to light that it exists on vinyl by a pre-Soledad Brothers outfit. Through word of mouth and vinyl-to-MP3 propegation on Usenet and P2P, this single has reached monster status. I bought this when it first came out, listened to it once, and it's been in storage ever since. Sorry, there is a reserve. Aside from some sleeve dust, the vinyl is NM as it's been played only once. Picture sleeve is also in NM condition. The labels have no spindle marks or damage of any kind. I rate them NM.
