1964 UK 1st PRESS *STEREO* LP
**NEAR MINT AUDIO COPY**
This outstanding 1964 UK 1st STEREO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback gatefold stereo cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper numbers: 4/GR & 1/GM

Visual: NEAR MINT
Both sides are totally unmarked & in MINT condition when viewed in strong daylight.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few extremely faint inner-sleeve storage marks.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This wonderful sounding copy recieved just careful play by its original audiophile owner on a Garrard 401 deck with an SME arm fitted with Stanton cartridge.
The sound throughout is perfectly clean & clear with no traces of any background noise or groovewear on any track.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently & there are no clicks, jumps or any other audible faults anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A fine example of this fragile cover which bears just very light handling & storagewear but no significant or major faults, inside or out.
All edges are sharp and clean with no tears & all the corners are clean & unbumped.
The rear panel has a just a minor disc impression from storage but is otherwise unmarked.
The inside is clean & black with no writing or missing paper.
The spine is clean & square and retains its factory 'pinched' ends with no tears to the upper or lower spine.
Both inner flipbacks & the seams are in perfect condition.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Light toning & storagewear, but no splits, tears or writing.
