THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
This early UK 1st STEREO pressing of their fourth studio album dates from initial December 1964 release.
It is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper codes: 4/R & 1/T
Vinyl weight: 154g
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback printed stereo gatefold cover.
This rare cover variant OMITS the stereo information box normally found in the upper right corner of the right panel inside the gatefold.
Complete with its original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex...' inner-sleeve.

Both are clean & unworn showing just a handful of clumsy spindle trails on the side 2 label.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing only some harmless wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve beneath halogen light.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This barely played copy of their best sounding stereo release from this period retains all of its 'breath of life' quality with clean & totally unworn sound quality. All tracks play beautifully with no traces of any groove/playwear or any clicks, pops or other such distractions.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A respectable example of this rare cover variant which displays light shelf/storagewear with no major faults.
The delicate & glossy front leaf has minimal edge wear without tears and some light shelfwear to the lower corners. There are a few small wrinkles to the spine but no 'thumbnails' front or rear. There is slight toning to the left inside panel's white areas but no writing or missing paper and the delicate hinge is fully intact. The rear panel has a light disc impression from storage but is also without any significant faults. The spine is square & fully worded with some laminate flaking towards the lower end. All seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD +
Clean & crisp with some gentle storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
