Heaven And Earth-“You Make The Magic” b/w “Rip Off 1500”, RCA, 75-1101, Early 1970s.

Rare Canadian-only black rock/funk 7” featuring none other than Rick James. Recorded in Toronto, “Rip Off 1500” is as badass as they come. The A-side (“You Make The Magic”) is a terrific and uplifting funk-rock number a la late era-Love (w/ Arthur Lee). Please check current auction for another early Rick James band (Gorilla).
