Description
I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
HAWKWIND.
KINGS OF SPEED / MOTORHED.
ORIGINAL UK 1975 UNITED ARTISTS 7" SINGLE.
The picture cover is super rare, very few came with one!
The Cover / Good+ condition. I graded as a strict G+ condition due to a small tear and creasing to the front opening edge as seen in the above pictures. Also the bottom has a 2" clean split. This is an original cover and NOT a repro. The cover still looks fine and it is seriously rare!
The Record / VG+ condition. The disc is clean, one side has a little vinyl mist from this being stored in a PVC cover for many years, this can happen with these stupid covers! The disc still plays well and and the mist is not bad.
The Labels / EX+ condition.
The record is now housed in a new paper cover to save the original. .................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
