HAWKWIND - First Album - 1970 - Liberty - 12” LP - PSYCHODELIC?PROG?ROCK

Debut album from experimental Prog band, featuring the memorable ‘Hurry On Sundown’, still a crowd-pleaser at the band’s gigs in 2020!

This is the original 1970 UK release, with a gatefold sleeve and the black Liberty label. It is the label variant with production credits in one line, and without ‘Made In England’ above STEREO
   
Sleeve: VG+ Just fading of the spine stops me from listing this as excellent. There is some minor edge and corner wear but not excessive  

Inner Sleeve: White generic

Disc: VG/VG+  Some light surface noise, primarily only noticeable between tracks and on the (very few) quieter sections of the album, although there are two-or-three clicks on Side 2 Track1. However, all-in-all not too bad for a 50-year old album that was played quite a lot back in the day!

I’m not a record dealer but just someone who has suddenly reached pensionable age and that old adage ‘You Can’t Take It With You’ has started to ring true.

So it’s time to release some equity from my record collection, which includes 60s,70s & 80s vinyl albums and singles, plus my extensive, predominantly-1977 punk/new wave singles collection (including a genuine Peaches ‘Blackmail’ sleeve to be auctioned at some stage….)  

My gradings are guided by Discogs, and I’m trying to be as honest and accurate as I can. All records played one last time before posting on ebay, just to be sure…
