Recorded 1955. With Horace Silver, Doug Watkins and Art Blakey.
Original first pressing
Double deep groove label with the Lexington address on both sides. Flat edge with Ear and RVG marks.
Record condition: VG/VG+
Cover condition: EX+
The record has many scuffs and light scratches. But the fidelity is very good with high output and a clear sound. There is some light crackle, but it's significant only on the ballad track on side one. Otherwise it's mostly overpowered by the music. No distortion or hiss, no ticks or skips. So the listening to this rare Blue Note gem is, despite the wear, still very much enjoyable! The cover is in very nice condition.
