Description
ITEM
- Hank Mobley Quartet
- TRUE ORIGINAL Blue Note 10" LP in stunning condition!
- Lexington Ave double-sided deep groove label with RVG etch and "P"/ear
- This record comes from a relative's personal collection and saw very little play. Vinyl is a strong VG+. Plays beautifully overall with superb fidelity and just a few spots of brief noise (not consistent noise - just a rotation where you'll hear a quick tic). There are a few light scuffs at the intro to both side A and B. They sound lightly on side B for several rotations and then drop out and the rest of the side plays wonderfully. Otherwise, visually, just a few short, scattered hairlines each side, nothing close to feelable.
- Sleeve is VG+ with a 1" bottom center split and some additional light wear at bottom. No other splits - spine is tight. Light top right corner ding and gentle rub to bottom right corner
- Comes with rare original "The Blue Note Story" glossy paper insert!
- Pains me to part with this, but it's time for someone else to enjoy it. There is a reserve set on this that reflects typical sale prices of this gem. If you're a serious bidder I hope you'll understand this.
VINYL GRADING SYSTEM. We will always describe a record to the best of our ability. Check our feedback for comments from satisfied customers. At the same time, we know record grading can be tricky and a matter of personal opinion. Therfore, if we ever fail to meet your expectations, please don't leave a frustrated feedback - just contact us BEFORE leaving feedback and we WILL make it right!
- NM = A record that all but the most particular collectors would say looks essentially perfect.
We will also sometimes put additional pluses or minuses (i.e. VG++) if a record is on the line between the grade below or above it.
PAYMENT
We will always invoice you at auction close. We accept PayPal only. Any questions, please contact us prior to bidding. Payment must be received within five (5) days of auction close.
SHIPPING
Records are shipped in sturdy LP mailer boxes with extra padding. Records and inner sleeve are removed from jacket to prevent seam splitting. We DO combine shipping on multiple records.
Due to the value of this item, it must ship insured Priority Mail in the US (I'm forced to enter a media rate to list, but I trust you wouldn't want this going media rate anyway) and it must ship Priority Mail International outside the US, which is trackable and includes insurance.
- US - $12.00 - tracked and insured.
- Outside the US - $45.00 Priority (6-10 business days). Priority Mail Express available at $65.00 (3-5 business days)
- Sorry, no sales to Italy
