H*RKENKREUZ "HO*STWESSEL" DEMO TAPE (SKULL CRUSHER RECORDS, 1994, SCR DEMO-0002)

OK, here's a special one. The only ever official release by this mega-obscure Japanese thrash act from the early~mid '90s besides a track appeared on the "Emergency Express '95" compilation CD and the live footage on the "Black Box" VHS. I suppose only a very few of those obsessed die-hard collectors/maniacs of Japanese metal rarities outside of Japan would've ever heard of this band. In Japan, there are good amount of people knowing them since they were the Rosenfeld-related band. They are from Sapporo area, where the bands like Flatbacker, Fast Draw, Saber Tiger, Eliza are also from. The interesting thing about this tape is that it was released by the old label ran by the Japanese thrash metal legends Rosenfeld, Skull Crusher Records. It was originally self-released by the band themselves with a completely different cover artwork/packaging. Kinda crappy artwork and layouts. You can see the photo of the self-released version on http://www.metal-archives.com/ Type in the band name in "Search" but replace " * " with the letter "A", ofcourse. I did that(*) in this listing for the obvious reason... The Skull Crusher version of this tape came with a nice pro-printed fold-out sleeve/insert which has lyrics, band photo and the label address printed on it. The cassette tape used originally for this release is TDK AE30. Two tracks on each side. I've heard that the Skull Crusher version has the better sound quality than the self-released one. Actually the sound quality is really good!!! Sounds very clear for a demo tape. The catalog # is "SCR DEMO-0002. By the way, the # 0001 should be the '91 demo tape by Rosenfeld, if anyone cares.
After Hisayoshi, the Rosenfeld singer(ex-Aion) heard this demo, he liked it a lot and decided to properly release it on his own label Skull Crusher, to support the band and get their name spread widely within Japan. As their page on www.metal-archives.com says "Mysterious thrash act from Japan", yes it's been a sort of "mystery" about this band to some of the international collectors out there, but until now. So, that's the story behind this band and this particular release. The music wise, their songs are in the vein of ROSENFELD, AION, THREAD WORM etc.(by the way, Thread Worm is another killer thrash band on Skull Crusher label. See their page on metal-archives as well). So, you get the ideas. Totally brutal, noisy and crushing Japanese thrash metal at it's best. Really intense and harsh thrashing tunes here. Also highly recommended for fans of the other Japanese bands like ROMMEL, M*IN KAMPF, early VIRUS, early CASBAH, JURASSIC JADE, LAWSHED, SACRIFICE as well as those classic German thrash like SODOM. 
I'M THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS TAPE. 120% ORIGINAL. BOTH THE COVER AND CASSETTE CONDITIONS ARE EXCELLENT. THE CASE HAS NO DAMAGES, JUST A FEW MINOR NORMAL SCRATCHES. IT'S ACTUALLY IN REALLY GOOD CONDITION FOR A TAPE THAT'S NEARLY 17 YEARS OLD. I'M A SERIOUS COLLECTOR MYSELF AND TOOK NCARE OF IT WELL. SORRY ABOUT THE HIGH STARTING BID PRICE. BUT I REALLY DON'T WANNA SELL IT FOR LOWER THAN THAT PRICE CONSIDERING HOW RARE AS HELL THIS ITEM IS.
