HADYN QUARTET Georges Maes IN MEMORIAM BOX 3LP
Limited In Memoriam Box with 200 page book + 3 LP Box
On auction the extremely rare rare Memorial Box that was issued after Georges Maes death in 1976, and that was distributed
in limited edition among family, friends, colleges and people who ordered the box before it was issued.
The set contains of a big box that hold both the book and the 3LP box.
The 200 page book is luxeriously bound in linen and has an extra paper cover (see 2 scans). It is printed on heavy,
glossy paper and contains essays, letters, hommages, memories, a wealth of photos and even three painting reprodcutions
that were made in honour of maes. Those paintings were printed sepeartely and glued into the book.
The 3LP BOX contains recordings by Maes', both published earlier on LP and previously unpublished radio recordings.

The 3LP box is in prestine NM to MINT condition, the records are pristine mint unplayed.
The book is bound in linen and itself is mint, the paper cover around the book is VG+ (see scan)
The box has a mint 12 page inlay as well and come with the original foam inlays.
The big outer box has some wear at the corners and a 1 inch split at the back that is not serious (see scan)
