Description
Original 1988 LP pressed in Canada on Geffen Records (XGHS 24198). Uncensored cover w/ "Wife Beating Has Been Around For 10,000 Years" and "Ladies Welcome To The Dark Ages" headlines. BMG record club address in upper right corner on back cover. Front cover autographed in assorted blue Sharpie by Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum. Autographs obtained at Coliseum, Hampton, VA 6-22-91. Duff wrote something illegible above his signature and scribbled below his autograph. Signatures look fantastic with a very clear Axl autograph (full name). Cover has NO ring wear, NO shelf wear, tight seams and a 100% readable spine. Minor flaws are as follows: front cover has 4 1/2" crease in upper right corner, 1/2" bump to upper right corner, two 1/2" creases in upper left corner plus a 1" and 2" light creases in lower left corner. Back cover has a 3/4" crease in lower right corner, 3/4" bump in upper left corner, plus a 1" and 3/4" creases at spine. Disc is beautiful NM with perfect labels. Inner sleeve is clean w/ black bar across nude female image (all American copies came that way). Inner sleeve is matte paper, not glossy. Includes set of three unused original backstage passes from exact show the LP was signed at. Date stamped on all three passes. "Stagehand" stamped on Working Personnel pass. Utterly gorgeous item, despite a slight smear in Duff's "inscription" (smear is in illegible area, not on his actual autograph). Backstage, Axl was in a good mood and signed without a fuss. Slash was playing pinball and kept the audience waiting two solid hours while he finished. He then smashed the pinball machine and walked directly on stage. The LP was signed way before the band went onstage. Izzy was there the whole time--not sure why he didn't sign. All sigs guaranteed authentic. To prevent damage, this item will be shipped in an oversized box, not a standard LP mailer.
