Description

I recently purchased a West End Avenue Estate of a retired school teacher.  She had a large collection of books and records that in the 1950's would have been considered subversive. 

I am offering for auction this Rare 1940 ALBUM titled "6 SONGS FOR DEMOCRACY"  which I believe was published by Keystone and released by the Music Room.  The inside cover has an inscription signed in blue pen by Paul Robeson.  This album should contain 3 sound discs of 78 RPM but there is 1 missing.  The 2 records that are in the album appear to me to have never been played.  There is also a small pamplet dated 7/4/40 containing the lyrics in English and German.  The album sleeve and cover along with the pamplet appear to be in excellent condition.  There is also a small newspaper clipping that I am leaving in the album.

I am starting the auction at $29.99 with no reserve.  Shipping and handling in the amount of $4.00 will be added to the total at the end of the auction along with a delivery confirmation charge of .80 for a total of $4.80.  Those wanting to bid outside the US should email me prior to bidding for shipping cost.  Payment may be made by Paypal (preferred).
