Up for auction: Total Collector Piece! This Guns n' Roses album is rare--especially on vinyl. At one point, Guns n' Roses was the greatest band ever. They epitomized everything rock and roll should be: loud, ugly, unpredictable, and always on the verge of self-destruction. They were the missing link between punk rock and heavy metal. Unfortunately, the band only released three studio albums before they finally imploded. But...as always, there are a few other recordings floating around. I did a bit of research on this double record album and all I could find was that this was from early studio sessions and live shows. The album was supposedly recorded in 1986 at Rumbo Recorders in Los Angeles. The band members couldn't afford to buy the master tapes, so the studio kept them as collateral. From what I could gather, they laid down a couple of disks worth of the material that would later make up "Appetite for Destruction", as well as a bunch of covers.
The condition of the cover folder is remarkably good...not terribly bent or creased. I would say a strong "very good" (I tried to take lots of shots so you could really see it). I listened to the whole album--both sides of both records--and heard zero scratches or skips. It's a cool album!!
Oh, there was also an "autographed" copied picture of them inside this album. I found it between the two records...not sure of any authenticity, but since it was in there from the original owner...I opted to leave it in there. I put the records in their sleeves and back in the folder as seen in the last picture.
