Guhhhhhh. Really don't want to do this, but as my appetite for fancy booze has superseded my love of hoarding old records (what can I say, it's really good booze), the time has come. This is an ORIGINAL and very, very nice copy of what at times is my favorite Guided By Voices record. There's something about the claustrophobically paranoid/resigned ultra-bummer vibe that sits apart from the rest of their discography, and musically it captures them at their most progged-out and weird. I bought this new upon release, not from a collector. The record has always been in my possession and, as with all my other records, I have taken very good care of it.

The vinyl was played carefully a maximum of three times on a very nice turntable, and as such could be considered NM, but I'm going with NM- just to cover my ass. Let's just say it is in flawless shape. The cover, as you can see from the photos (which have been tweaked to exaggerate the flaws; in real life you will find these are more minor than in the photo), has a couple small blemishes like a lightly dinged upper right corner and some slight darkening of the white cover in the upper left corner. That's it. No ring wear, no split seams, no nothing else. It's a damn sight nicer than most 21 year old records, that's for sure. The insert (also pictured) is in perfect shape. As I said previously, this is a very, very nice copy. It was rare upon release and is obviously even more rare now.

I have been buying and selling records for a long, long time now and know how to do it right. I pack well (record removed from sleeve and packaged with a thick cardboard divider between them) and ship fast. I love my records and care about their condition and the home they will eventually receive. I will not screw you over. After all, one day when I regain my senses I may end up wanting to buy this back from you.

That said: Once the record leaves my hands, so does the responsibility for its condition. In other words, if you're worried (or especially if you live overseas) BUY THE INSURANCE, because if something goes wrong, you're out the cash (and the record), not me. I also know shipping and insurance costs are outrageous, and I'm happy to work with you about keeping those costs down.
