DESCRIPTION: Groundhogs Lp- Split. In fully laminated (inside and out) gatefold cover, correct inner advertising sleeve and with black liberty labels. First Uk pressing , matrices ending A1U/B1U. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Liberty LBG83401 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a nice sheen . It has a short thin hairline on side 2 that prevents me from grading the vinyl EX visually. Played passages today on my Pro-ject Deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent!! . Clear and loud. The music is blistering and its my favourite Groundhogs Lp. Cover is firm and square and has only light edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. Nice shape to thick, wide speen. Ive only graded this sleeve VG+ as it has some horizontal creases which must have been a manufacturing fault. Without them this would be better than EX. . Clean labels. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
