Grieg Peer Gynt Beecham UK HMV ASD 258
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Beecham Choral Socierty conducted by Sir Thomas Beecham perform Griegs “Peer Gynt” Suite. An English stereo pressing on the HMV Label (ASD 258), the labels are cream with plum lettering, gold stereophonic and border, and a shaded dog logo. The record has a very minor surface scuff on side two, otherwise it is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. As a recording, it doesn’t get much better than this. The cover has a slight ring and is otherwise in excellent condition.
