Grey Star featured the soulful, gutsy sound of lead vocalist Ruby Starr who is considered one of the first important female rock vocalists with Wisconsin ties.  Starr was a back up singer for Black Oak Arkansas and received a gold record for her work on Jim Dandy (To the Rescue).  Sadly, this dynamic performer died in 1995 from cancer.

This auction includes a rare autograph from Ruby Starr on the inner sleeve which reads, " Merry Christmas and Top of the World To You. Always Be Happy. Ruby Starr." Please note the inner sleeve has tearing, seam splits and staining, but the autograph is intact and clear.

Vinyl: Vinyl has a warp and does not lay flat on platter. Also a few scratches.  Plays through with only a very little noise and one pop/skip that I can hear.  Plays Much better than it looks, but because of the ugly warp I'm going to grade it VG-.

Cover: VG with bends, sticker residue, corner dings.
 
Even with the condition issues, this is a great find! Play It! Enjoy It! Cherish the Autograph!

• MINT (M)... A PERFECT RECORD.No Marks or scuffs.Very few records will be mint.

• NEAR MINT (NM)...A GREAT RECORD.Only a few light marks or scuffs. High gloss.

• VG+...USED BUT NOT ABUSED. Light scratches and/or paper scuffs.
  

• VG...A NICE RECORD but looks a little more used and played. Light scratches.
• VG-...VERY USED. A bit rough but still plays fine
   
• G...one or two fairly deep scratches. Fills the collection.
