Description
This is a first or second pressing of Green Day's debut LP 39 Smooth. This is the default black vinyl, not the green vinyl that came out around the same time. This is listed for anywhere from $180 to $250 on used vinyl sites and is priced to sell. I also reduced the price for creases in the jacket. The creases are shown in the pictures that I provided. For a 31 year old record, both the vinyl and the jacket are in great condition. The record sounds great and has minor signs of wear. The music completely drowns out any surface noise that the record has. The original insert is still all together. It has some creases as you can see in the picture, but it has held together really well. This LP is pretty rare. As it was limited and is 31 years old not a ton can be left in this good of condition.
Recorded in twenty two hours from 4:30 PM, Dec. 29th 1989 to midnight, Jan. 2nd, 1990 at Art of Ears in San Francisco

First or Second pressing with Berkeley address on the back cover. There is debate as to whether all of the black vinyl were sold out before Lookout! Records moved from Laytonville to Berkeley. Along with needing to change the address, Lookout! was under threat of lawsuit for using the IRS Records logo on the original insert. There are claims that some of these leftover records were repackaged into the Berkeley address jackets with slightly modified inserts that removed the IRS Records name and logo. This would have made them indistinguishable from any repressing that was put into those jackets. So that's what I mean when I say this is either the first or second pressing, both of which are from 1990.
Track B5 spelled incorrectly as "The Judges Daughter" without the apostrophe on both back cover and on the vinyl sticker. Officially titled "The Judge's Daughter".
