Description

Granicus is a early 70's hard rock band from Cleveland,Ohio. This is the original release from 1973 not the 1997 reissue. Whenever anyone talks about Granicus you always hear two questions, " why has hardly anyone heard of them?" and "why did they only release one record?". I don't have the answers but I do have the same questions. This band and this album are amazing. They are often compared to Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant and many say they are a better band and Woody Leffel's vocals are better than Plant. This album is a time capsule between the late 60's progressive rock and the now 70's hard rock sound. I could go on and on about how amazing this release was but if your a true hard rock fan or a collector of music history you need this album and if you don't know if you do or not or think it is to much money to spend take some time looking into it and see what others say and what others are charging. You will probably come back with those same two questions and wonder what in the world happened.

The band is Wayne Anderson, Joe Battaglia, Dale Bedford, Woody Leffel, and Al Pinell.

The vinyl is mint. The cover is near mint but for a half inch slot in upper left corner and some very light ring wear.
