Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped “P”-pressing of Grachan Moncur “Evolution” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4153.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The coated New York 23 cover is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; ¼” bump at the top right corner; slight wear at the lower right corner.  Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Lee Morgan, Jackie McLean, Bobby Hutcherson, Bob Cranshaw, and Tony Williams.  $400.00.
