Golliwogs - Fight Fire/Fragile Child *Scorpio WLP

I'm getting older, and my body's starting to fall apart, so it's time to part with some of my collection. Offered for your consideration is this classic from the Golliwogs: Fight Fire b/w Fragile Child on Scorpio.

Goldmine VG statement: The Very Good Grade does not mean Very good at all. At least not in the visual sense. A Very Good (VG) record will appear well played but still have some luster. The vinyl may be faded, slightly grayish, yet appears to have been handled as carefully as it could have been helped. Records that get continuous playing time will start to deteriorate. More and more surface scuffs and scratches, and audible sound defects WILL be heard.

That pretty much describes this record. Audibly, plays through just fine without pops/clicks. Visually, no scratches, but has its share of scuffs. The label, while intact, has developed something of an orange-skin texture that is visible if you tilt the record and catch the light just right.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT SHIPPING! The following is direct from the eBay/PayPal Seller protection page: "Depending on the type of claim or chargeback the buyer files, you will need to provide either Proof of Shipment or Proof of Delivery to get coverage. If you're responding to an "item not received" claim, you'll need to provide Proof of Delivery from a shipping company that meets the following conditions: • It shows the status as delivered. • It confirms the date the order was delivered. • It includes the recipient's address, including a minimum of the city, state, and zip code (or equivalent). • For payments of $250 USD (or local currency equivalent) or more, it includes proof of the recipient's signature to confirm delivery."

As you can see, PayPal forces sellers to have delivery confirmation to prevent lost claims; therefore I will only use services that provide tracking. In the US that means media rate w/confirmation or Priority Mail. For ANYWHERE else it means USPS Express Mail International. My experiences with international mail (particularly the UK Royal Mail) have been problematic recently and I've had to use the tracking more than once. Sorry, but I can't afford to take losses because of carrier incompetence or deliberate fraud by unscrupulous buyers. Yes, I know it's expensive, but unless you are willing to put in writing that you waive all PayPal buyer protection that's how it is.

Revised data: I should specify that the Fight Fire side plays without pops/clicks/crackles/surface noise. The Fragile Child side has no pops/clicks, but does have some background high-frequency surface noise in spots. Essentially, the Fight Fire side plays close to VG++/NM territory.
