1969 UK 1st PRESS LP
This extremely hard to find UK pressing dates from initial release in May 1969 and was the 2nd & final release on Apple's experimental 'Zapple' label: ZAPPLE 02
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK...' text but no purchase tax code is present on either.
It is housed within a fully laminated, George Harrison designed cover.
Complete with its original printed inner-sleeve.

A superb clean & bright pair with no more than two or three light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with no scuff or scratches in sight. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines but nothing significant or major. Both sides of this superb copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has obviously been barely played. I have listened to it all the way through and find that apart from an occasional light 'pop' on side 1, the sound is clear, clean & unworn throughout with no further significant or any major audible faults.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
A clean & fully intact example with some general storagewear, but no major faults. Both front & rear panels are clean but have some light storage marks and there is some shelfwear rubbing to the lower two corners. The opening edges to have some minor wear and a little laminate flaking to the rear edge but no tears to either. Both seams are smooth and unstressed and the spine is fully worded and unworn.

VERY GOOD +
A respectable example with just a few faint age-related spots to he paper and a light disc impression but no seam splits, tears or writing.
