Very rare first pink scroll Charisma Label.

Side 1 – CAS 1020 A-2U

Side 2 – CAS 1020 B-2U

The lp comes along with various music newspaper clippings from 1973 that have been kept in the sleeve since then.

Vinyl Condition: VG (The vinyl under normal light looks excellent. Under a halogen lamp there are a number of small marks and hairlines. Side 1 plays well overall but there is some surface noise which is mainly noticeable in the quiet parts. Side 2 plays well overall. No jumps or skips anywhere and overall an enjoyable listen. This has been played many times and has been enjoyed.

Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (I think the plain white inner is original although I cannot confirm this.

Outer Sleeve Condition: G/VG (The original textured sleeve is very good overall. No tears or splits and has wear to the spine and edges as one would expect from an lp of this age. Someone prior to me owning this decided to place a ticker tape label on the top right hand edge of the front cover. Nothing I can do about that, it is what it is. There is staining to the inner gatefold and the rear cover.o here are no major issues with the gatefold sleeve and is clearly very good for the age.

I have played the LP again this morning and there is a noise on side 1 on each revolution like a short hiss. This is noticeable on the quieter parts as explained in the original listing. I have put it through a number of cleans on my RCM and I cannot get rid of the issue. There is no obvious mark on the records surface to indicate what the problem is. I only mention this as this is a highly collectable and rare LP and i do not want the buyer to be misled in any way. I have described this as best as I can. Side 2 is a much better listen. I will understand if any bidders wish to cancel their bids.

A point I forgot to mention is that this is a very first issue as it has the textured outer and inner gatefold.
