When Genesis returned to English roots with this release in 1973, they perhaps unleashed their finest album, ever.
As musicologist Stephen Thomas Erlewhine points out: “It plays as a collection of short stories, fables, and fairy tales, and it is also a rock record, which naturally makes it quite extraordinary as a collection.”
This is the original FC release, here in a cover without major fault, just part of the upper seam has let go (about 4 inches – nothing serious) from the glue drying out after all these years.
Inside, is the Charisma platter in near-mint playing condition.
