I have a couple other colors on this .This is clear blue and Green . It's on Philips so you already know it's a classic.

Original pressing records sound better BY FAR then today's reissues in so many ways . Records used to be produced in large factorys . 70's , 80's some early 90's @ the height of analogue era... Better mastering , pressings , RECORDS ARE FLAT, No pressed in surface noise from dirty plates/stampers, printing from originals. Today's reissues are usually not so flat , poorly plated and stamped - causes all the distortions you hear , 180 gram they can pump them out faster w/ less warp, throws the VTA OFF On your turntable. And all the bad things involved with computer graphics and rescans! Think about it . The best records were Japanese and German w/ DMM Mastering 70's and 80's . THESE RECORDS ARE THIN For a reason or two. The one thing nice about today's record is that they are generally pressed w/ better quality Kaiser Virgin Vinyl. Not regrade . Years ago the large plants would actually recycle vinyl. But the old regrade records still sound better than a new American Pressed Lp on Virgin Wax. So called "Audiophile" new records pressed at like Rti are fake audiophile. Open it up , listen to the cracks in between tracks , and the groove distortion. The grooves are not so deep and they wear faster.
I use "Record Collector" Magazine grading . And add a "NM" inbetween M and EX. One grade is equal. Covers graded first. VG+ Records will have surface noise accompanied w/ classic surface noise. I gurantee that . Don't buy the VG+ If you are picky like myself!
Please disregard any of Ebay's "Grading" principles or stiptulations in this ad . Thanks
RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerTTT Powerlisting. I power-pak - my records . A little more w/ bubbles and stiffeners. So you get the item as it should be!
