You are bidding on a super rare 1971 LP on the legendary Oakland label Black Jazz by electric keyboardist Gene Russell entitled "New Direction". The first record ever released on Black Jazz(Russell owned the label) and considered by many to be one of the best, this album blazed paths in 1970s soul jazz. If you are into 70s soul jazz or funk, free jazz, or more politically included 70s jazz music, this record is a must have. I'm sad to see it go, but I need the money.
