“SVARTKATTEN” LP
Flora Records 1971 as catalogue number = TNBL 873
ULTRA RARE copy of one of Norwegian jazz fanatics ”holy grails”
the soundtrack to a theatre performance called SVARTKATTEN- a politically loaded play from 1971.
This extremely rare record (pressed in 750 copies) contains all music composed and arranged by EGIL KAPSTAD and the band includes amongst others :
-JAN GARBAREK,
-RADKA TONEFF
-IVAR ANTONSEN
-OLE JAKOB HANSEN
-DITLEF ECKHOFF
Different types jazz tracks from modal to some groovy Rhodes features on this record which is quite impossible too find today.
Produced by legendary producer Sven Erik Børja and recorded in Arne Bendiksen studios 1971. The original inlay is included with all the lyrics to the songs.
Condition :
Vinyl : EX ..just a couple of hairlines which are almost non hear-able.
Cover : EX
Insert : EX –has been folded on the middle. Probably the way it was released back then.
