Description

Guided by Voices - Propeller

Rockathon Records 001, 1992

Beautiful non-numbered copy from the original run of 500 copies, still in shrinkwrap! As you can see, a pretty good effort was put into the artwork on this one. From what I've read, the covers with this visual theme are believed to have been made by Bob.

ALSO: I am the owner of #19/500. I am considering selling it. Send me a message if you are interested. #19 is STILL SEALED (I acquired it after the copy that I'm selling here, so I had no reason to play it). I purchased it in 1999 at the WFMU Record Fair, from a well-known person who would have received at least a couple of copies from Bob (I can provide full details to prospective buyers). There is no documentation of #19 on GBVDB.com or Trader Vic's Propeller Gallery, but I will probably provide photos sometime next week!

I'm selling a bunch of other GBV stuff this week, so please check out my other auctions!

Condition:

Vinyl: M-. Super-clean - no scratches whatsoever!

Cover: NM. Still in shrink. Lower-right corner has slight creasing (see photo), which appears to have existed before the artwork was done. Will be shipped in a RECTANGULAR lp mailer so you will receive it exactly as it is now!

Packaging: Preserving the current condition of this lp is important to me! I will use a sturdy RECTANGULAR mailer that prevents damage to the corners of the lp cover.

Shipping:

USA: $4 Media Mail. Combined shipping will be applied for multiple items.

International: Shipping cost will be actual, based on your location. I will invoice the remaining shipping balance once it is determined/agreed upon.

Grading:

Basic Goldmine standards, except that I will use a straight-up "M" if something actually appears perfect (it does happen, though rarely). I grade under a bright bulb while using strong reading glasses, so I see everything. In my opinion, "Sealed" can be a record grade, but is not a legit cover grade! Cover defects will be noted, even if sealed!

THANKS FOR LOOKING!

Update - It isn't likely that I will settle on what to do with #19 prior to the end of this auction, but it is definitely happening. I will submit photos to GBVDB.com on Wednesday, May 17, and also reply to all queries. Sorry for my delay so far!
