Grapefruit Record Club is a collaborative endeavor of close friends Ben Goldberg (Ba Da Bing Records) and Simon Joyner. At a glance, the record club is a subscription-based label, releasing four unique albums each year. Each new addition to the record club is comprised of brand new material from a featured artist and will be distributed solely in vinyl format.

Grapefruit Record Club’s inaugural year features a diverse group of artists including Lambchop, Richard Youngs, Lonnie Eugene Methe and 200 Years (Ben Chasny of Six Organs of Admittance & Rangda and Elisa Ambrogio of Magik Markers). The label's subscription-only distribution concept allows the established artists to share their audience with the lesser-known artists featured on an annual roster.

A subscription to the record club includes four quarterly released full-length LPs and a deluxe, hard-shelled slipcase box to house the series of records that make up that year’s roster of artists. You will receive the Lambchop record in April, the Richard Youngs record in July, the L. Eugene Methe record in October, and the 200 Years record in December with the slipcase to hold all four. All the LPs are new, exclusive collectible releases and are only available by subscribing to Grapefruit. We are only taking subscriptions until Valentine's Day so subscribe now to avoid missing out. We also offer half subscriptions in which you can pick any two LPs but you have to get those from the website, we are only selling full subscriptions on eBay.

The artists on Grapefruit are on loan and ever changing so no subscription cycle will ever be the same. Grapefruit's mission is to expose fans to exclusive, challenging new music on vinyl while ensuring that the musicians actually get paid for creating their art.

It's impossible to use the shipping calculator on eBay since we will be shipping four packages, not one. We made the subscription $105 with free shipping for U.S. (because shipping is $15 for four packages in the U.S.). We ordinarily have a flat shipping fee of $30 to Canada and $57 to the rest of the world but since we added the U.S. shipping into the cost of the subscription, we will need to deduct and adjust the total if you are purchasing internationally. If you are purchasing a subscription from outside the U.S. just request a total including shipping and we'll send you a Paypal request with the correct amount so Canadians will end up paying a total of $120 including shipping and other international purchasers will pay a total of $147 including shipping, just like on our website.
