A very nice copy of the Grantstand album by Grant Green on Blue Note (BLP 4086) that also features Yusef Lateef, Jack McDuff and Al Harewood. The address on the back cover reads: "Blue Note Records Inc., 43 West 61st St., New York 23."

The label reads: "33 1/3 microgroove LONG PLAYING - Blue Note Records Inc New York USA." "RVG" is machine-etched in the trail off. The hand-etched matrix reads: "BN-LP-4086," which is followed by an "ear" mark on side 1. On side 2, the "ear" precedes the matrix. This feels like a heavier piece of vinyl.

Condition:
The front cover is very clean, definitely still shiny with very minimal wear. There is a small "B 197" in black marker under the title (hard to make out given the black cover). The open edge is worn and the top two corners are split a bit. The back cover looks great aside from slight discoloration and the paste-on cover is starting to separate in the top right corner (a bit has actually been torn off here).

The vinyl is VG+ (8 out of 10, great looking record with a couple light surface scuff marks/lines; the only one I think worth specifically noting goes across most of side 2. As far as my listen it produces some audible crackle that is not constant/consistent -- and actually, for the most part it plays through on my deck with no audible difference). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
