Description

My Sunday bonus item this week is a PROMO COPY WITH SIGNED GLOSSY PROMO PICTURE of the ORIGINAL 1973 STEREO U.S. RCA VICTOR RECORDS self-titled LP from the hard guitar rock / early heavy metal outfit Granicus. It is U.S. RCA Victor Records catalog number APL1-0321. There is a stamped impression at the upper left corner of the back cover indicating a promo copy. THIS LP COMES WITH AN 8' X 10' GLOSSY BLACK-AND-WHITE PROMO PHOTO OF GRANICUS, PERSONALLY SIGNED IN BLUE BALLPOINT BY ALL FIVE BAND MEMBERS - I have attached a partial image of the signed glossy promo photo so you can get the idea, I have only attached part of the photo in order to discourage the possibility of unauthorized copying. Granicus is a great jamming guitar based band which presaged the metal bands of the 1980s. Personnel: Woody Leffel-vocals, acoustic guitar / Wayne Anderson-lead guitar / Dale Bedford-bass / Al Pinell-rhythm guitar / Joe Battaglia-drums. Tracks: You're In America, Bad Talk, Twilight, Prayer, Cleveland Ohio, Nightmare, When You're Movin', Paradise. Condition of record could be a bit better but should be acceptable for this caliber of rare and musically great collectable vinyl - Condition of record is conservatively about a high VG/low VG+ with a moderate amount of visible surface marks which cannot be felt - Record plays through with some crackly surface noise in the quieter passages and one or two slight ticks, record will not skip. Labels have no problems worth mentioning. Condition of cover is conservatively a low VG+ with a 3" split in the right-hand side of the top edge and a 1-1/2" split in the middle of the top edge (I have carefully and neatly repaired these spilts by taping from the inside), some ring and contact wear and a fair amount of wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no writing, tears, or stickers. Condition of personally signed glossy promo photo is VG+ with a few slight wrinkles - All five personal autographs are perfectly distinct and vivid with no fading or smearing. A scarce addition to any early 1970s hard rock or early heavy metal record collection! Winning bidder pays $3.00 media mail postage or actual insured priority mail postage within the U.S; due to new eBay regulations insurance will now be optional on my shipments, buyer assumes risk of loss or damage in transit on uninsured shipments. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - Uninsured first class international airmail postage to the UK or anyplace in Europe is $13.50 - Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
