You are bidding on one of the holy grails of Rock N' Roll! This is the rare "Go, Johnny Go!" Promotional movie Soundtrack LP that was only issued to selected theatres in 1959!
 
THIS IS ONE RARE FIND FOR ANYONE WHO COLLECTS MAJOR ROCK N' ROLL HISTORY!  
Artists are a who's who in 50's Rock and Pop. They are Jimmy Clanton, Chuck Berry, Sandy Stewart, Jo Ann Campell, , Jackie Wilson, Eddie Cochran, Harvey Of The Moonglows, The Cadillacs, The Flamingos and Ritchie Valens (listed on the front as "The Late Ritchie Valens")! The movie actually came out right after Valens died along with the The Big Bopper and Buddy Holly.

Cover is in VG to VG+ condition. Bottom-center has a 2-inch split and the spine's center has 3-inch split. Front has some minor wear and scratching and a little up-curve by the opening. Front, top-right looks a little frosted(?). All in all, a nice cover forf this rare item! Reads printed "NOT FOR SALE" on the front, bottom-left.
 
Record is in also in VG to VG+ shape, but when it is VG+, it's plays pretty strong. A couple of minor deep scratches that play right through on my player. Some minor surface ones as well. Plenty of gloss and shine. Labels are in beautiful shape with some marks on Side 2 but only if you hold it to a light. Labels read "SAMPLE COPY - NOT FOR SALE." A prime example of this rare LP!
 
Matrix (or Dead Wax) has etched in "GJG-A  4-1-59" on Side 1 and "4-1-59  GJG-B" on Side 2.
This is NOT the 70's reissue!
