ORIGINAL 1st PRESSING TELEFUNKEN  RECORD STEREO [SLE 14680 P] 1972-made in Germany-SO SO RARE GERMAN HEAVY PROGRESSIVE PSYCH KRAUTROCK VINYL LP 33.1/3 rpm excellent copy of a record that will BLOW YOU AWAY... Not offered much anymore.. some real killer stuff... 

                                                             GUITAR MADDNESS HEAVY PROG PSYCH

 GIFT were A HEAVY PROG band with PSYCH overtones... one of those "NO COMPROMISE" heavy progressive bands,who've now achieved a considerable cult status.They started up in 1969 as the school band " Phallus Dei ".Three years later UWE PATZKE(BASS-VOCALS),HELMUT TREICHEL(VOCALS),RAINER BAUR(GUITAR)and HERMANN LANZE(DRUMS-PERCUSSION)recorded the first GIFT album at Union Studios in Munich,produced by Otto B.Hartmann.NICK WOODLAND(GUITAR)was listed on the sleeve of their first album,but he had quit GIFT before the recording session began to join SUBJECT ESQ.,later SAHARA.The album comprised eight songs with plain hard guitar riffs.Some of the lyrics [ Printed on back cover jacket] had clear anti-drugs messages;Some really massively killer material.. Very similar to Hairy Chapter "can't get thru"...

Tracklist: Side one- 1-Drugs [5:10] , 2-You'll never be accepted [6:30] , 3 -Groupie[3:10] ,4 -Time Machine [3:10].

                   Side two- 1-Game of Skill [5:24], 2 -Don't Hurry [5:00], 3-Your Life [4:30],4 -Bad Vibrations [3:34].

 Condition:

 Record vinyl: NM- to EX+[very few light hairlines surface,light stamp on one side label[from record store in Beyrouth-Lebanon] looks very clean]. 

 LAMINATED cover jacket: VG+ to EX- [ has a few minor wear imperfections on edges and corners,starting light ring wear, some little wear lamination from the opening side start to  peel off,small  seam split on top middle edge side,no cut ,no punch hole..].                         

                        MEGA RARRRRRE!!!!

LP condition GRADING system:

M (MINT) : Sealed, never opened or played, new in original package.

NM (NEAR MINT) : Near perfect copy, played only a few times. At worst it may have one or two insignificant flaws. This is the highest grade I give for a non-sealed (used) record.

EX (EXCELLENT) : Clean copy, slight surface marks/hairlines, cover has minor defaults.

VG++ (VERY GOOD++) : More surface marks, minor flaws, or cover wear, minor edge wear (cover). Nothing serious but is not graded EX because of few minor defaults.

VG+ (VERY GOOD +) : Played a lot, will show signs of handling, has marks, possibly few light scratches but no jumps or sticks. Cover wear (light ring wear, heavier corner or edge wear on cover).

VG (VERY GOOD) : Used record, played a lot, has marks, few scratches, some crackling while playing and but no jumps or sticks. Still quite listenable. Cover may have heavy corner, edge wear or split seams.

G (GOOD) : Played a lot and more (but still playable), lot of scratches, crackles a lot while playing, may have jump or sticks and cover is damaged...so not so good ! This record must be very rare to be proposed in this state !!!
